All rules here apply to everything Aeon.

Chatting & Communication

Using the chat appropriately and respecting fellow players is essential to creating a positive and enjoyable environment for everyone. All members of the community should be treated with dignity and kindness. Disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated.

Some examples of disrespectful behavior include, and aren't limited to:

Harassment or bullying of any kind
Hate speech or discriminatory remarks
Personal attacks or insults
Disruptive behavior intended to annoy or provoke others

Users that break this rule will receive a ban for 'Chat Abuse', with the duration varying from each staff member.

Fair Gameplay

To ensure an enjoyable experience for all players, fair gameplay is a fundamental principle of our community. Cheating, exploiting bugs, or engaging in any unfair practices will not be tolerated. All players are expected to play honestly and respect the integrity of the game.

Some examples of unfair gameplay include, but aren't limited to:

Exploiting bugs or glitches to gain an unfair advantage
Using cheats, hacks, or any third-party software to alter gameplay
Engaging in game manipulation to disrupt the experience of others
Abusing game mechanics in a way that is not intended by the developers

Users that break this rule will receive a ban for 'Unfair Advantage', with the duration varying from each staff member or an IP ban for one day if caught by the anticheat.

Promotions & Links

To maintain a safe and spam-free environment, players are not allowed to promote external content or share unsolicited links without permission. This includes advertising, self-promotion, or posting links that disrupt the community or direct players away from the server.

Some examples of prohibited behavior include, but are not limited to:

Advertising other servers, websites, or social media without approval
Posting links to harmful, inappropriate, or malicious content
Spamming links or promotional messages in chat
Encouraging others to leave the server for personal gain or promotion

Users that break this rule will receive a ban for 'Chat Abuse', with the duration varying from each staff member.

Inappropriate Content & Cosmetics

To maintain a friendly and respectful environment, all content shared or discussed on Aeon must be appropriate for players of all ages. (Aeon Discord is slightly more lenient on this rule) Sharing or creating offensive, explicit, or inappropriate content will not be tolerated.

Some examples of inappropriate content include, but are not limited to:

Posting or discussing explicit, sexual, or violent material
Using inappropriate language or slurs in chat, signs, or builds
Displaying inappropriate skins, usernames, or in-game builds

Users that break this rule will receive a ban for 'Inappropriate Content and Cosmetics', with the duration varying from each staff member.

Ban Evasion

Ban evasion undermines the integrity of the server's rules and consequences. Any attempts to bypass a ban by using alternate accounts or other methods are strictly prohibited and will lead to further action.

Some examples of ban evasion include, but are not limited to:

Using alternate accounts to access the server after being banned
Changing IP addresses or using VPNs to bypass a ban
Asking other players to act on your behalf while you are banned
Attempting to rejoin the server through any unauthorized means

Players caught evading a ban will receive additional penalties, including extended or permanent bans across all accounts. Respect the consequences of your actions and allow the appeal process to resolve any disputes.
